CanCan is a mezzanine-level data project for multimedia content objects encoded by Dawn , a resource manager.
CanCan serves CANDYs, CanCan Data Yarn files, providing element-level cognition-oriented information of the underlying assets. At the present stage, it mainly focuses on the human behavioral aspect (visual cues and seeking tendency). On top of investigating the innate objects embedded in assets, CanCan also utilizes Brahms, the in-house market intelligence unit, to source and curate compatible products on the external market, as context and reference material. CanCan is part of an initiative to further liberate resources (and consumers) at the object level. Learn more about the ecosystem .
CanCan is intended for professional use. Some potential advanced use cases are discussed in the Showcase . In compliance with copyright laws, unless authorized, content elements of the original media assets are not included in CANDYs.
At the moment, CanCan services CANDYs and Licorices, a special type of CANDY for human subjects. While CANDYs focus on Korean dramas and dramas with strong female leads, Licorices track the lifestyles of NBA players.
